Won Hee Cho is the Managing Partner of DLG Law Corporation. He graduated from Seoul National University and earned his LL.M. from the University of Texas School of Law. He also holds a Ph.D. from Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies (aSSIST).
Beginning his legal career at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, Mr. Cho has provided legal services in the fields of technology and entertainment, with a particular focus on IP licensing, technology transfer, M&A, and joint ventures. His practice also includes international IP litigation, such as U.S. patent lawsuits and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration.
Mr. Cho has successfully advised a wide range of clients from major corporations to venture-backed tech startups, universities, and research institutions, leveraging his deep understanding of both IP law and investment practices. He provides practical, strategic legal solutions across various stages of startup growth, including investment structuring and cross-border M&A.
In today's increasingly complex global landscape, Mr. Cho delivers efficient, forward-thinking legal strategies for IP transactions and international disputes. In addition to managing DLG, he also serves as Adjunct Professor at Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) and aSSIST, and holds leadership roles in several key organizations, including President of the Korea Blockchain Startup Association and Vice President of the Korea Licensing Society. Through these roles, he continues to advance both the legal and industrial communities by offering integrated, strategic guidance.
