She holds a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from the University of Toronto, a M.A. in International Trade and Management from Yonsei University, and law degrees from Handong International Law School and Regent University School of Law.

Prior to entering legal practice, she spent nearly a decade at Samsung Electronics, where she led North American marketing strategy, logistics coordination, pricing negotiations, product launches, memorandum of understanding, and international content production.
