Hyunji Jang is an attorney at DLG Law Corporation with a unique interdisciplinary background spanning law, art, and international studies. She earned her J.D. from Yonsei University Law School, holds an M.A. in Art History from the University of Oxford, and completed her undergraduate studies in International Liberal Studies at Waseda University in Japan.
Prior to her legal career, Ms. Jang worked as an exhibition planning curator at Daelim Museum and D Museum under the Daelim Cultural Foundation, gaining practical experience and expertise in the cultural and arts sector. In particular, she handled various legal aspects in exhibition planning and operations, including copyright, licensing and joint production agreements.
Leveraging her professional background in the arts and fluency in Japanese, Ms. Jang advises clients in IP, content and media, and startup sectors. She offers specialized legal services in contract review and negotiation, as well as copyright dispute resolution across the entertainment, gaming, and publishing industries. She is also actively involved in advising Japanese companies on M&A transactions and legal due diligence related to entering the Korean market.
Ms. Jang also participates in AI-related research, including projects funded by Korea’s Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), and offers legal insights at the intersection of technology, media, and intellectual property. Grounded in an integrated approach to technology and law, Ms. Jang systematically analyzes and resolves complex legal issues related to IP and content. She provides legal protection for clients’ creative works and technological assets. As an attorney at DLG, her services focus on the content and media sectors to help clients strengthen their competitiveness in the global market.
