Sebastian Pawlita is a Senior Foreign Attorney at DLG Law Corporation and a core member of the firm’s Asia Practice Group. Based in Yangon, Myanmar, he has been providing legal services in the region since 2013 and concurrently serves as the Managing Partner of Lincoln Legal Services (Myanmar) Limited.

Licensed as both an attorney and a certified tax accountant in Germany, Mr. Pawlita began his legal career at major German law firms before relocating to Myanmar. Since then, he has advised a wide range of clients, including multinational corporations, NGOs, and INGOs across diverse industries throughout Myanmar.

His notable achievements include obtaining investment permits and authorization from the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) for a local Cash & Carry chain, providing investment advice on industrial alcohol plant investments, assisting with the asset sale of a foreign mining company, advising a telecommunications tower company on obtaining MIC investment approval and a network facility services (C) license, facilitating cross-border loans for telecommunications equipment suppliers, advising on microfinance restructuring and securing foreign loans, providing advice to hotel operators in Myanmar, representing a foreign airline in high-stakes litigation, and advising a state-owned oil and gas company on legal strategy following regime change.

Mr. Pawlita is also the author of the Lincoln Services legal newsletter, a highly credible and timely source of legal updates in Myanmar. His insights are widely read by Korean and international companies seeking to enter or operate in the Myanmar market.

At DLG, he works closely with the firm’s Myanmar Team to deliver tailored legal support to clients across the region.
