Jae Seok Yang is a partner at DLG Law Corporation. He received his B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University and earned his J.D. from Jeonbuk National University School of Law. Before joining DLG, he practiced for 11 years at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL), where he specialized in space and insurance law. He also co-founded a startup in the e-learning and video platform sector, giving him practical insight into the business and technology landscape.

Since 2012, Mr. Yang has provided comprehensive legal counsel for the development and launch of Korean satellites and launch vehicles. His insurance practice spans the full lifecycle—from incorporation to insurance claim handling—and covers a wide range of corporate insurance products such as property insurance and D&O liability, as well as personal insurance products like auto and medical indemnity coverage. Mr. Yang has advised and represented clients in numerous large scale incidents involving fire-related losses, including power plant explosions, bus terminal and logistics center fires, computer center fires, and fires involving vehicles and appliances. He has also handled claims arising from major natural disaster, including the Pohang and Gyeongju earthquakes, the Goseong forest fire, and typhoon-related flooding.

At DLG, Mr. Yang leads the firm’s practice in space, aviation, and drone regulations, and actively advises fintech startups in the insurance sector. He regularly represents clients in high-stakes disaster-related disputes.
