Hee Chul An is the Managing Partner of DLG Law Corporation and Head of the firm’s Policy Center. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) and a J.D. from Seoul National University School of Law, and is licensed as both an attorney and a certified tax accountant. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering at POSTECH and as a Director of the Korea Business Angels Association. He provides advisory and litigation services across a broad range of areas, including startups, corporate law, finance, M&A, data privacy, artificial intelligence, and both civil and criminal litigation.
Mr. Ahn is a recognized leader in startup law, cross-border structuring, and both inbound and outbound M&A transactions, with particular expertise in flip structure for Korean startups expanding into global markets. Drawing on this experience, He has authored several widely used legal publications, including Startup Legal Guide 3.0 and the Investment Contract Guidebook. He frequently lectures on startup M&A at K-M&A School and serves as a policy advisor to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Tourism Organization, and various local governments.
