Soo Hwa Lee is the Head of the AI Center at DLG Law Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in Western History and both a master's and a doctoral degree in Cognitive Science from Seoul National University. By combining his background in the humanities with deep expertise in cognitive science and AI, he is an expert in the field of AI.
Prior to joining DLG, Mr. Lee served as a research professor at the AI Convergence Research Institute at Hallym University, where he conducted R&D projects on AI-powered commercial cognitive software aimed at reducing the user’s cognitive load and enhancing memory learning.
His industry experience includes managing major projects such as English Pronunciation Corrector for Koreans, the mobile keypad app Naratgeul, the 3D RPG language learning platform Hodoo English, and the digital reference platform T Smart Learning. These projects exemplify his success in bridging the gap between academic research and practical application through the commercialization of the latest research findings.
Mr. Lee has developed numerous AI and cognitive-science-based systems, focusing on the intersection of human intelligence and usability with information engineering and AI. He recently published a book titled AI EdTech and Behavioral Science, further solidifying her thought leadership in the field.
With a deep understanding of AI and cognitive science, he analyzes the impact of advanced technologies on legal and regulatory frameworks. As the head of the AI Center at DLG, he provides expert consultation on the convergence of AI technologies and law, and presents integrated solutions that help clients manage legal risks while driving innovation.
