Introduction
DLG Law Corporation’s AI Center provides specialized legal and strategic advice at the intersection of artificial intelligence and law. Drawing from deep expertise in AI and cognitive science, the center analyzes the legal implications of emerging technologies and develops integrated solutions that balance innovation with risk management.
The AI Center actively engages in the development of AI-based legal tech, enhancement of legal service quality through AI, legislative consulting for AI-related regulations, and the promotion of human-centered AI through ethical frameworks and institutionalization.
Going beyond LLM-based legal services, the AI Center introduces the concept of “Legal Cognition”—aiming to support legal professionals in reasoning analysis, improve AI-assisted legal education, and enhance legal cognition in legislative and administrative domains. It delivers differentiated value by improving both the quality and accessibility of legal services.
The Center is led by Director Sohwa Lee, who earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in cognitive science from Seoul National University and previously served as a research professor at Hallym University’s AI Convergence Institute. Her work has focused on developing AI-based cognitive software to reduce user cognitive load and improve learning outcomes. Her portfolio of innovative projects such as English Pronunciation Corrector for Koreans, Naratgeul (mobile keypad), Hodoo English (3D RPG-based language learning), and T-Smart Learning (digital reference platform).
She has also authored books based on her research at the intersection of AI edtech and behavioral science, bridging academia and industry.
