Pro Bono

Mission Statement

"Reaching out to people in need."

Public interest is both the culture and the goal of DLG.

DLG Law Corporation was founded with the vision that “every member of DLG prioritizes the public interest—supporting the underprivileged and reforming unjust social systems—while dedicating themselves to society and clients through expertise and innovative legal services.” In other words, beyond engaging in public interest activities as a law firm and as lawyers, DLG has committed to pursuing profit in ways that reject injustice and contribute positively to society.

In line with this vision, DLG actively puts it into practice by hosting public interest forums and carrying out various initiatives such as D-Tech, D’Change, and the Time Bank program.

Core Principles

DLG Law Corporation holds public interest activities and commitment to social causes as our core principles. We strive to use our expertise and innovative legal services to contribute to society and help our clients.

  • 1We will participate in public interest activities and will contribute a portion of our turnover (+5%) for public interest.
  • 2We will work honestly and ethically and will not undertake dishonest or unethical engagements.
  • 3We will strive to continually improve our skills and expertise to provide value to clients seeking our specialized services.
  • 4We will cut costs and seek reasonable profits while we implement a fair and reasonable distribution policy.
  • 5We will foster our members’ growth and honor their work-life choices.
  • 6We will cultivate talented members who will meaningfully contribute to society.
  • 7We will be humble in our attitude, tireless in our efforts, and considerate of our clients and fellow members.

Public Interest Time

All members of DLG Law Corporation are committed to volunteering at least 50 hours for public interest activities. We encourage our members to pursue their desired public interest activities during working hours.
