Certified B Corporation are companies that pursue both financial success and social impact in a balanced and responsible manner.To earn B-Corp certification, companies must score at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment (BIA), which evaluates over 180 criteria spanning governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. The certification process is rigorous, with a low success rate, and companies must undergo recertification every three years.

As of now, only 30 companies in Korea, including DLG, have earned this distinction. Among law firms, DLG is the first and only one to be certified.

B-Corp certification serves as a global benchmark for credibility in social responsibility and sustainability. Internationally, an increasing number of investors are using B-Corp certification in place of traditional ESG assessments as a key investment criterion. As such, the certification not only validates a company’s values but also enhances its brand value in global markets.
