Introduction
The DLG U.S. Visa & Immigration Center provides comprehensive legal counsel on U.S. visas, permanent residency, immigration strategies, and other legal issues related to living, working, and expanding into the United States. As uncertainty surrounding U.S. immigration policies continues to grow, individuals and businesses are seeking more strategic approaches to studying, working, launching businesses, investing, and residing in the United States. As a result, U.S. visa and immigration matters now extend beyond simple application procedures, requiring broader strategic planning for long-term residency, family accompaniment, children's education, asset transfers, U.S. entity formation, and business operations.
In response to these changing circumstances, the DLG U.S. Visa & Immigration Center provides tailored legal support based on each client’s individual circumstances, objectives, eligibility, and available immigration options. The Center also identifies and assesses potential legal risks that may arise throughout the process of entering, residing in, and conducting activities in the United States.
The Center serves a broad range of clients, including individuals and families preparing for study abroad or long-term residence in the United States; startup founders and business owners considering expansion into the U.S. market; companies planning to dispatch employees overseas; and businesses requiring coordinated visa and immigration strategies in connection with subsidiary establishment, investment activities, or business operations in the United States.
For companies and entrepreneurs entering the U.S. market, immigration and business matters are often closely interconnected. Such matters may include incorporating a U.S. entity, conducting local business operations, raising investment, transferring employees, obtaining executive or professional work visas, and planning family relocation. Accordingly, it is essential to develop a comprehensive strategy for the outset.
Working closely with DLG’s U.S. Office and a network of U.S.-based professionals, the DLG U.S. Visa & Immigration Center provides practical, locally informed guidance to help Korean clients address the complex legal issues that may arise throughout the process of U.S. immigration and business expansion.
