Hai-Young Shin is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in the United States. She earned her law degrees from Handong International Law School and Regent University School of Law. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from York University in Canada and is licensed as a Paralegal and Notary Public in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Prior to joining DLG Law Corporation, Ms. Shin focused her practice on U.S. immigration law, advising multinational corporations, professionals, and investors on a broad range of employment based immigration matters. Her experience includes preparing and filing immigrant petitions such as EB-1, EB-2, and National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions, as well as nonimmigrant visa petitions including H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, TN, and R-1 visas. She has also advised clients on evolving U.S. immigration laws and regulations, coordinated complex cross border documentation, and successfully responded to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), helping clients navigate a wide range of immigration procedures.
Drawing on legal education and professional experience gained in the United States, Canada, Korea, and the Middle East, Ms. Shin brings an international perspective and broad cross border expertise to her practice. She works closely with individual and corporate clients to understand their unique objectives, develop tailored legal strategies, and provide practical and timely legal counsel that supports successful entry into the U.S. market and long term establishment in the United States.
