Gayoun Hong is an attorney at DLG Law Corporation with a distinguished background in corporate legal practice. She earned her B.A. in Business Administration and J.D. from Seoul National University.
Prior to joining DLG, Ms. Hong served for 12 years as the General Counsel at NCSOFT Corporation, one of Korea’s leading game companies. In this role, she handled a wide range of legal matters, including shareholder meetings, board advisory, labor and employment issues, M&A transactions, and the drafting of major domestic and international contracts.
Her experience spans legal advisory on game development and service operations, platform business compliance, and dispute resolution, including contract disputes and B2C litigation. She also has strong capabilities in managing legal risk under regulatory regimes based on her experience responding to investigations by the Korean Fair Trade Commission regarding violations of the Subcontracting Act and the E-commerce Act.
At DLG, she provides expert legal services in content/media, corporate advisory for IT and gaming companies, M&A, labor and employment, and dispute resolution, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges and achieve their business goals.
