Song Wook Kang earned a law degree from Korea University School of Law and J.D. from Chung-Ang University Law School. Kang served as Public Service Advocate at the Ministry of Justice’s Office of Litigation Division, where he directed and supervised state and administrative litigation, supervised constitutional trial matters, and handled policy and regulatory issues such as by participating the government-wide virtual currency task force team. Kang then joined Korea Legal Aid Corporation, where he actively litigated a range of civil, criminal and administrative cases, including those involving wage claims, construction, industrial accident. And during his tenure at a Law Firm, Kang advised corporate and start-up clients on variety of legal matters surrounding financing, investment contracts, regulatory compliance when starting a new business, employment and labor. Additionally, by resolving litigation or obtaining injunctions relating to management rights disputes and corporate criminal cases, Kang provided practical and effective solutions throughout overall corporate activities. Kang is currently providing various legal advice to startups including general corporate legal affairs/M&A, as well as dealing with litigation and legal issues of financial and fintech companies at DLG Law Corporation.
